122.

you ready for some more fall goodness!

I went over to emo's because I saw a TON of pumpkins.  and they had more stuff like corn and gourds that were glazed!  amazing!  I'm going back to purchase soon.

well here's today's pic.  corn glory.  revel in it.

maize haze.

a-maize-ing.  love it.  I want to print so many of these for myself.  cause I'll have lots of new wall space, holler!!!  there is so much goodness in the focus and texture of this picture.  love.

one 21.

a little behind, I know.  I had a late last night thanks to a certain bride-to-be...

well, this was a good day.

a good good day.

I met my new apartment.  we hit it off right away.

I'm sure there will be more posts and blogs featuring this new excitement in my life, but for now just this.

this is in the front of the building, there is a stone border around the gardening.  love how this turned out.

stack it high.

like, yeah.  its cool.  me like.

120.

so today I stopped on the side of the road because I've been noticing these great trees.  so I pulled in and snapped away.  they were luscious.  and the sky was the most perfect blue.

add some changing leaves.  you've got one big helping of bliss.

falling out.

expect lots more tasty autumn photos.

one nineteen.

I had a lot of things to accomplish and prepare for tonight, so my photo taking time was spent in my front yard and in the house.

but I really like this.  it kinda reminds me of the book cover of "the thirteenth tale" which I really like, but I heard the actual story isn't all that great.  but I sure do love book covers.

it might look cool framed in a study or something.  its all of our baby books of photos, piled in the corner of the computer room.  looked cool all dusty so I took a picture just to see.  I ended up liking it so here you go!

back when.

I really like the details of it.  it might be kind of boring to some people but I think its visually interesting.

one hundred eighteen.

today was another exciting day for fall pictures!

we had a campfire going for iuventis and the pictures turned out so cool.  the one I chose, however, features another campfire friend...

s'more to love.

I just love it so much.  the fire in the back.  the texture of the cracker.  plus, who doesn't wanna think about "sandlot" quotes from that caption.  win win.

one seventeen.

wedding day for my dear friend, kristin!

if there was ever a wedding that completely suited a person, it was this one.  it was SO kristin:)  she was lovely and the wedding was so sweet and special.

this picture is for her.  I did a sneak attack while kristin and phil were talking to some people at the reception.

to have and hold.

love is lovely.  congrats, my friend.

homecoming weekend!

more opportunities for football pics!  and I got a good one!

the last game I wasn't there for the starting line-up so I was glad to be there this time.  I happened to be in the prime spot for the players huddle as they were running up through the "M".

hog herd.

pretty sweet action shot.  those boys were going crazy, gettin' all pumped up for the game.

day one hundred fifteen.

so I had planned on attending the pep rally but as a result of a week of bronchitis, my back feels like it belongs to a eighty year old that just got beaten with a bat.  so, I'm kind of immobile at this point.

but during the day, I did take pictures.

the winner came from the parking lot behind my work, again!  that place is surprisingly giving in my endeavor.

the minute I took this and looked at the result it was truly a "button to bliss" moment...I believe my exact words were "mmmmm,  yummy".

in the rust.

I know, right?

114!

on time!   look out, world!

well today I had a random assortment: a tractor, dancing, the moon...

the winner is always the winner...dancing always wins.

its pretty fabulous.  ballet is my favorite dance of all dances.  I know I teach hip hop, but ballet makes me feel beautiful and graceful and I'm good at it, dangit.

anyways, revel in the glory of this, because its my favorite part of the class...barre.  only cool ballerinas can decipher this caption...or you could google it.

releve` row.

kelly's gonna loooooove this.

I plan on updating the website soon with some scotland pictures and more!  keep visiting and keep sharing it with people - I got my first order today!

113.

today I went back to work and tried to normalize my life.  but I'm still hacking up a bit so I decided to stay in tonight.  get these blogs done.

but I did go out to get some chinese for dinner.  it is oh so delicious and my brilliant sister gave me the idea.

so as I was waiting in line, what did I do, take pictures.  sometimes people give me odd looks, followed by an awkward smirk on their lips, its just a shame I have to embrace now.  thanks, 365.

hong kong fuey.

I think he's kinda cute.

112.

holy crap, this is a lot of blogs.  stop getting behind, kristi!

anyways.  I was still sick and just ventured into the yard to get my picture.

I really like this picture, it looks like a painting!

little whimsy.

what a pretty nugget.

one eleven.

by far, the worse day of my sickness.  saturday night was bad, but then I woke up sunday and had no reason to get out of bed.  being awake only pained me so I tried to sleep and drug up.

but, against my own wishes, I decided to give up and go to the doctor.

I hate doctors offices.  waiting, cold, invasive, expensive.  nothing under the category of "fun".  anyways, I went, had some crazy asian lady tell me my lungs looked good, and took my zpack and went home.  I figured it would be my only time out in the open...so I took some pictures.

I mean, why not, I had a half hour to kill just sitting in that stupid room on that stupid bed covered in paper.  *shiver*.

poke and prod.

welcome to my nightmare.

day one hundred ten.

so my dear friend kelly and I awoke with allergies and hacking, yet we still decided to try and go to the parade.  big mistake.  as you know, it rained, hard.

luckily, kelly, her iphone, and I foresaw this.  so, we booked it to the car.  in spritzy rain.  then it became a light fall.  by the time I closed the car door, ultimate downpour.  so what better idea, then to go morton family restaurant for breakfast!  by the way, morton's best kept secret.  seriously.  I get the gyro skillet...heaven.

morning glory.

all things breakfast are good.

109.

day two of sickness.  however, I did feel slightly better that afternoon.  which was good, cause I had a date with my chubby friend.  little janie.  we went to coffee with her and her mommy.  it was nice.

so today's picture features her rolls and her glory.  I love this baby girl.  I hope when I get married someday, she's at the ripe age to be my flower girl:)

chubby bubs.

little queen of love.  she is so awesome.

108.

I hate getting behind.  please forgive me.

this day is none too exciting.  this was the day the plague hit.  I was housebound, hacking, fever, pounding head, swollen throat.  sooo my life consisted of baths, medicine, and sleeping.

enjoy this picture to its full potential.  poor thing, its trying so hard.

shower power

kinda cool.  its not the best but, give me a break, I was imploding.

one-o-seven.

pumpkin fest opening ceremonies!

that is the location of my picture today!  I have been looking forward to this for a while.  the only thing that would have made it better would've been a blue sky.  drat.  oh well.

the balloon release, ladies and gents.

catch and release.

fun fun fun!

Tuesday, September 14, 2010

one hundred six.

here we go.

pfest is set. up.  so I went over there to take pictures of the emptiness that was soon-to-be chaos.

I got a real good one, of my favorite past time ride.  the kiddie roller-coaster.  that thing is BOSS and not gonna lie, me and poff rocked that in high school.  with a video camera.  that was quite a day.

ode-to-the-memories.

coastin' thru.

pretty stellar.

Monday, September 13, 2010

one oh five.

blogging is a lot easier during daylight hours.  when I do this at night it feels endless.

anyways, this day I went over by the festival to see the tents and ended up taking pictures at this auto place, at least I think that's what it was.

so I took a ton of pictures of mechanical paraphernalia.

chain gang.

pretty cool looking if you ask me!

104.

hoedown throwdown!

the annual young life hoedown took place on this lovely day.  good weather.  good decor, courtesy of myself and miss katie, good times.

and my picture is in honor of that.  and the theme of that night.  sweet country livin'.  I love this picture and I will be keeping it for future reference for my wedding day.

and the caption: in honor of my current song obsession.  seriously, look it up and listen to it.

jar of hearts.

mmmm luscious.

Saturday, September 11, 2010

day one hundred three.

I'm hoping these absences won't continue.  my excuses are as follows:  I was desperately striving to get my website ready and to get prints ready to sell at carrousel and lulu's and the day after all that went down, I got really sick.  and I've been sick SINCE then.  all throughout the pfest.  suckity suck.  it was horrid.  I'm still not fully over it, but at least I'm upright.

anyways, quite a day.  thee day.  september 11.

here's the thing.  I didn't actually remember that.  BUT, strangely, my picture is perfect for the day.

old glory.

pretty nice, huh?

Friday, September 10, 2010

one hundred two.

last one and then I'm going to bed. I would do today's picture but the amount of pictures I took is just way to large to sift through tonight.

plus I'm super tired.

well this was the day we celebrated my friend kristin's bride-to-be-ness:)

this picture is for her, cause its her favorite thing ever.  what better way to have a party for kristin!

simple pleasures.

don't they look delicious?  I like this one, it makes you appreciate the little things:)

Thursday, September 9, 2010

one-o-one.

special special day.

I spent the evening with my pal gal:)  she's a crafty crafty lady.  her basement is like a wonderland of craft supplies.  buttons, markers, glitter, ribbons, paper, EVERYTHING.  its amazing.  so is she.

I've known this woman since I was eleven and we've done endless amounts of crafts together.  my favorite is what she calls a "poster".  its basically a drawing and parts of it are raised up so there are levels.  I had this vision to do it with my new logo.  so I got my materials ready, went over to her house, and forced her to help me:)

this gives you a sneak peak of the new logo and also shows my dear jeannie, in her prime.

on my way.

this just makes me smile.  she's a joy.

100!!!

can't believe it, my first hundred mark!

only 265 pictures left!

kind of sad though, I took a whopping THREE pictures this day.  because I was behind, I didn't know where I was at in numbers, otherwise I might have taken a lot more!  but I still love it, its really sweet and nice.

I took this at one of my family's homes, it was out in their driveway.  it looked so sparkly in the sun, just like those fancy vampires.

a little sparkle.

I love the shadows and the letters.

ninety-9.

so sometimes I have a little extra time in my day to stop on the side of the road to take a picture.

when I was driving in washington and saw this, I had no choice.

its so cool and I'm so glad that I pulled over.

flash flood.

look at that water!  so sweet!

98.

oh my word, I am SO in love with this picture.

this is like my second or third picture featured at toni's house.  who knew?

this happens to be from her garage.  her garage!  but its fantastic.  I want it huge on metallic paper in my living room.

storehouse five.

nice, huh?  the caption is just because I like the title of that book.  and a garage is a place to store things.  and I just wanted a different kind of caption.

Sunday, September 5, 2010

ninety-seven.

this is an ode to my pops on his 56th birthday.

its not OF him but the caption is related.

for my birthday my sister came home to surprise us and we ended up playing a rousing game of bags.  dad and I basically dominated and killed our sad opponents.  the victory dance lasted for at least an hour.  my sis had a beer and I thought it looked cool with the bottle and her stellar nails.

grab a coolie.

thanks for modeling, bul.  thanks for the caption idea, dad.  love you, coach.

Saturday, September 4, 2010

9-6.

yay for fall and unbelievable photo opps!

my aunts came down to visit and we went to tanner's orchard.  YES.  so much to look at and capture.  there were some great apple pictures and pumpkin pictures, but I thought this one looked exactly as the caption says...

pure gold.

this is all I want to decorate with.  ever.

Friday, September 3, 2010

ninety-5.

this one is exciiiiitiiiing.

opening day of football!  I went crazy, let me tell ya.

loads of pictures.  with a perfect night, perfect sky, perfect lighting, pops of color.  glorious.

I took a lot of the team but my favorite of the night is an ode to my days of dance.  there's no better feeling than getting on a muddy football field and dancing in spandex.  I think this photo perfectly captures my love of my poms days and the feeling of being out there and what it means to me.

field of dreams.

like seriously???  those nuggets were going for it.  and for the record, me and my friend julia did this EVERY game when we were little.  and then we were on poms together:)

sometimes I feel like I'm duplicating captions, so call me on it, will ya?

Thursday, September 2, 2010

94!

here it comes.

more pictures.

so this was a day that I was sick.  but I had to run into work to go get some stuff to work on at home.  so I did.  and I thought, I'd better take pictures now because I won't be leaving the house when I get home.

sometimes I see things while I'm driving and I think, that'd be a good picture.  but most of the time I don't have the time to pull over.  so I'm frequently logging locations in my head for future use.  which is good, because sometimes my brain isn't very visual.

so this was one of those places.  the new osf hospital.  well, the added part.

I LOVE the emergency sign.  but when I got down there I saw a really cool statue.  a man standing in a robe and he had birds flying away that were perched on his arm.  its really pretty.  and that is where my picture comes from today.

strong and silent.

just look at those little stone toes!

Wednesday, September 1, 2010

niner-three.

wow.  so I have an explanation...though no one's been asking me about my blogging whereabouts...

anyways.  my pictures essentially "crashed", like 15,000 of them.  so I've spent the last week restoring them and making sure the ones I'm blogging about and selling soon are ready to go.  I wanna launch my sales on wednesday so keep your eyes open...

its been night after night up til 1230 am of editing and restoring.  tired and feeling a little monotonous in my days.

so I have a LOT of pictures to share with you!

this one is great just because its visually catching and its my new favorite thing:)

if you remember me blogging about my friend jani's store "twigs" this was my big purchase from there.  its so precious.  its a windchime that she made and it has a magical sound.

these are the little guys that sing to me...

sea of keys.

its getting really hard for me to decide which pictures to print for myself.
